Desert Rock

Josh Homme is a pretty damn good musician. Although I’ve never listened to a lot of Kyuss or Eagles of Death metal, Queens of the Stone Age are great, Them Crooked Vultures are fantastic, he collaborates with just about anything that moves, has a tattoo that reminds him never to play a bad show, and now, he’s back.

QOTSA have locked themselves away in a desert (apparently) to record a new album, their first since 2007, and a new track has just been uploaded: Nobody to Love. It’s got electronic elements, recalls Songs for the Deaf and pulses along with trademark grimy distortion. I like it.
